Mr. Thanh, I am sorry you were not satisfied with the service you received last week. I have investigated the repair ticket, talking to the service advisor and listening to the recordings of phone conversations between the advisor and Eric, who visited the shop with you at drop off and communicated with us on your behalf. After listening to the phone calls, I heard where our advisor said we needed to do the testing, what the fee was, and that then we could provide an estimate of the entire repair, parts and labor. Eric said okay and we proceeded based on his approval. I am sorry that there may have been miscommunication due to language differences, but we did clearly outline the testing and the fee, and it was approved. Thank you Lisa for leaving us a review. I went and read thru your repair order and talked to your technician. Our technicians always check the tires whether or not you were here for tire services. It's a safety check. Your tires had a lot of dry rot which leads to tires breaking down and possibly causing a blow out on the road. We recorded the date codes, which indicate when the tire was manufactured, and 3 tires were dated 2023 and one was dated 2022. Based on the dry rot, the date codes, and the tire wear (amount of tread left on the tire), we can only conclude that they were used. If they were sold to you as new, you should return to that dealer and ask for a refund. My service advisors offered to show you how to read the date code on the tires but you declined. As for the bill, your oil change was in fact $44.95 but that did not include sales tax or disposal/shop fees. Sales tax is mandated by the government and shop fees/disposal fees are standard in our industry. We have to pay to have someone carry away used oil and other contaminated materials. I'd be happy to talk to you more about this if you'd like and if you want to come by so we can talk about how to read a tire, we're happy to do that as well. -Beth Wiggs

Mr. Burns, Thank you for taking time from your day to leave us a review. Reviews, good or bad, allow us to examine our systems and make improvements so we’re always getting better. You came in for front cv axles on your 2016 Lexus. We quoted a fair price, and our shop has several Master Technicians who are more than capable of handling this repair. You authorized the repairs and we completed the front left side. Unfortunately, when we began the repair on the front right, we found the cv axle bearing was seized to the oil pan, something we could not have anticipated. You were made aware of the problem and offered a solution which logically would have an additional charge. You declined to have the additional work done and without that, we were unable to replace the cv axle. Please note, we made you aware and you signed saying you recognized that the car is unsafe to drive without the proper repairs. We did call your warranty company to let them know what we found and they declined to cover the repair. I am sorry we could not arrive at a solution that worked for you. If you’d like to discuss this further, please come by the shop and I’d be happy to meet with you. -Beth Wiggs
